We've got issues, we've got problems. A laundry list of insecurities. We've been emotional, self-promotional, fell victim to this social disease. But there is no cure, only bottled time. And you just can't pop the top. It's broken up and bearing down, out of control. Hoping and praying to forget about you. I know it's gonna be hard, but what am I to do? I've made some big mistakes and in turn, I've made some giant leaps of faith. Left with nothing but road rash on my hands, and a bruise upon my face. I was told by older souls it would be a piece of cake, but they're all fried and petrified, left frozen at the stake. You, horrible you. You, terrible you. You, pitiful you.
A friend with a reliably fine musical taste posted this album on FB and I wasn't disappointed. Love the guitar sound and the passionate vocals (melodic enough to not pass as screamo or whatever). Punk rock spirit yet with a lot of dynamics (definitely a yes to the Dischord reference) and compact songs that won't leave your head for a long time. Many many
great tunes on here but for the moment USMA and Lay Low have to be my favorites! Great band, very happy to have found them! perpendikel
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
A perfect punk album. What always amazes me is that it's littered with melodies and lyrics good enough on their own to build an entire song around, but Captain We're Sinking has so many great ideas, they don't need to stretch any single one beyond its welcome. This will have you coming back over and over again. John Martin
